Designing A Native Garden

Come hear Lindsay Mann, owner of Stellar Roots Herb Farm and Sustenance Design, speak about various ways to incorporate more native plants in your landscape. Lindsay will explain why native plants are important for pollinators and the ecosystem, and offer tips for achieving a natural and beautiful garden design. Light refreshments provided, and there will be a drawing for a door prize.

Carrie Radcliffe Brode, Director of Conservation Partnerships for the Atlanta Botanical Garden’s Southeastern Center for Conservation, will join us to demonstrate various ways to propagate native plants. This will include techniques for gathering seeds, tips for cold stratification and other ways to ensure good germination. Carrie will also discuss how to determine which native plants may be the most successful in your garden. Light refreshments provided, and there will be a drawing for a door prize.
